  • I purchased this product on 2/26/22 brand new through Amazon. In the beginning, the charger worked flawlessly. Within about 6 months of daily usage (it\'s sitting on my desk charging tech gear at all times), I soon realized the 2 USB A ports quit working all together. Seeing as how I am unable to return the product through Amazon as it\'s past the return window, I went to Kovol\'s website and attempted to contact customer service in hoping I can exercise my warranty that is listed on their website. I used all contact emails that they provided and I have yet to even receive an acknowledgement that they will look into my case. I would honestly go with the likes of Anker or a larger more reputable company as Kovol\'s customer service and product is absolute trash. A charger should not break after 6 months of usage.Edit 9/19/22: Customer service has finally gotten back to me and sent me a replacement device ASAP. Works great again so I changed my review to 4 stars. Minus 1 star seeing as how this appears to be a common occurrence based on other reviews.
  • The company I work for started deploying new laptops that have only USB-C power ports and I only have one crummy 65W charger, inadequate for power-hungry Dell laptops that demand 90W. I saw this charger and figured it would be nice to have something that could power the laptops AND super-fast charge my S22 Ultra phone.I\'m giving this charger 3 stars because it does provide plenty of power for the laptops. I will give it that much, at least. But it does NOT support super fast charge on a Samsung phone. You\'re not going to get anywhere close to 25W, let alone the 45W that the S22 is capable of. It can only handle Adaptive Fast Charge, which maxes out at a measly 15W. I\'ve already got chargers that are better than that, this is a downgrade in terms of using it for my phone. And yes, I have a proper 5A cable, it can super fast charge on a Samsung adapter with no problems. The charger is pretty beefy. I\'d say it probably weighs about as much as a Dell USB-C laptop charger and probably takes up about the same volume. The Dell charger is broad and flat, while this one is skinny but tall. The power cord is detachable and uses a standard C7 (\"figure 8\") appliance connector which is fairly common. Unlike the Dell charger this unit can power multiple items at once and all the cables are replaceable.I\'d give it 5 stars if it actually provided super fast charging for Samsung phones, but it can\'t so I\'m really disappointed. I\'m not sure yet if I\'m going to return it. It\'s still fine for laptops, and it can still charge my phone faster than a plain 10W charger, though it\'s still about 20-30 minutes slower than a proper 45W adapter.
  • I wanted something to consolidate all the individual chargers in my workbag. Although my Laptop would be better off with something a little more powerful, it didn\'t seem worth the extra price. I tried one of these that plugged directly into the wall. I really liked that it was compact, a little cheaper and it was also a little lighter, I preferred it to this in those regards. However, I didn\'t want to be caught in a situation where the outlet was obstructed in some way because I\'ll depend on this for charging my laptop. This one has a traditional cord and plug and should plug/reach anywhere I need. It feels a little warm and is slightly bigger and heavier than I was hoping, but it should provide the convenience I was looking for. I\'ll make an update if my experience doesn\'t uphold my expectation.
  • This does a great job charging various devices including a M1 Macbook Pro, Surface Pro 4, IPad, and my Android phone. It\'s compact and has a decently long AC cable to reach the wall when an outlet is not close by. However, it sometimes momentarily stops charging the Macbook causing the laptop to automatically dim the screen as if unplugged only to brighten a few seconds later. This is just a minor annoyance. The larger issue for me is that once devices are fully charged, the charger seems to shut off, though the LEDs remain lit. LEDs on my USB-Surface cable and on my USB charging cables also stay on, though my USB-C Magsafe cable LEDs shut off. This would be fine if the charger periodically powered on again, but it doesn\'t seem to. In fact, even unplugging the device cables and plugging them in again doesn\'t seem to have an effect. I have to unplug the charger from AC power, let the capacitors drain, and then plug it in again to restart charging.Note, for some this may be a desirable power saving feature, it just isn\'t for me.
  • I purchased 4 of them, 1 failed after about 5 months and their customer service does not respond at all. The US rep phone number appears to transfer to a number in Toronto and repeated messages left are never returned. Emails sent to support@kovolinc.com are not returned. You can\'t even register the warranty as the submit button appears to do nothing.UPDATE:After posting my review Kovol customer service reached out to me and quickly sent me a replacement unit. They tell me they have addressed the problem, and I hope that is the case. Other than that issue the units have worked very well. Changing my score to 4 stars
  • I have a 65W KOVOL charger and bought this as an upgrade to charge both a laptop whilst also super-fast charging my Samsung Galaxy S21. Unfortunately, I cannot get super-fast charging to work. It does on the KOVOL 65W using the same cable, so I know it\'s not the cable or the phone. Disappointing.I\'ll also add that this thing is not small/light - to be expected from a 120W charger, but still a bit of a surprise.
  • I do like this charger. It\'s very well built and takes up little space. I like that it uses a standard power socket and is universal so you can use a cable and not need an adapter. It does deliver the power too - a nice fast charger. It is a bit heavy (but that\'s GaN for ya!). Biggest thing is the price - it\'s not cheap. But if it lasts 10+ years then it is value. Jury is out on that right now though.
  • The size is perfect for traveling. I used this to charge my old Macbook Pro 2015 and iPhone Xs.
