Klipsch X12 Bluetooth Neckband Headphones (Brown Leather)
- I had a different model bluetooth neckband from Klipsch that seemed to be going out in the left ear so I picked this thing up mainly because the $40 I spent on the previous model seemed like the best $40 I had spent bc that thing lasted forever! The x12 looks super cool and the sound quality is better than I\'ve had in earbuds. I have yet to run the battery out and I\'ll listen to it for lonnnnnng shifts at work while I do drywall/mud tape/carpentry stuff. My only complaint is that I move constantly and the neckband will spin around and me putting the back in the front. It doesn\'t fall off. It just sits a little weird. I spin it back around and keep at it. If you are just looking at sound quality and battery life it\'s 5 stars all the way
- I have been using this bluetooth headset now for about a year, it work excellent and sound is good.I own other Klipsch neckbands (R5 & R6), but the reason these are my favorite is because it has excellent battery life, very good sound, and the ear pieces are small enough that I can wear them almost all day long during meeting and answering phone calls. The only negative to this set is the back of neck band is a little bulky and wish is was thinner like the R5.
- I had owned the R6 headset for a number of years, and loved them. Due to my own negligence, the wire for the right earbud was severed. And after failing in my attempt to rewire them (as I had successfully done with cheaper headsets), I made the decision to upgrade to the X12.The design and material quality is exceptional, and the included leather case is sure to prevent future damage to the wires. The sound quality is second to none; the smoothest, clearest, and broadest range of sound I\'ve ever heard from a pair of Bluetooth earbuds. For those concerned about the rubber control buttons warping and becoming unadhered, I\'ve never had that issue with neither this nor my previous pair. Neither have I had the finish come off of the metal plated areas. However, I feel these to be much too expensive to take to the gym or other such places, and I\'ve only used them casually at home or between classes (so this definitely plays into longevity). The only nitpicking complaint I have is that the wires are a bit abundant. But as you can see in the photo, this problem is easily solved with zipties and wire snips.I am a huge fan of Klipsch products, and would definitely recommend this to any audiophile friend.
- After a lot of research, I chose this neckband earbuds. I am in construction and I tried the corded ear buds but they just got in the way. As I am a little hard of hearing, I was searching for something that was loud and clear in an even louder environment. These are the ticket. The sound, even when I\'m next to bulldozers with back up alarms is perfect. There comfortable, light weight and come with various sizes of ear buds. It also has a great battery life. I would definitely recommend this item.Update: I still love these headphones but the problem is the rubber that covers the volume and power buttons has started to separate on both sides. You can\'t just glue it down (not that you should have this problem for $300) because the rubber is now like a washboard, all wavy. This makes is very difficult to operate unless you can see the buttons. There is a coating on the underneath that has also started to come off. The leather and copper looking coating is still as new. For $300 you would think there would not be such simple issues as using a better glue.
- Sounds Amazing, looks good....but after a few months the plastic started to crack and the, rubber In lays over the power, fast forward, ect. buttons started to warp...not the quality I expected for the price.
- I love this earphone! I have very small ears and all witless earbud hurts my ears so bad. This earphones is simple but works perfectly. My ears don’t feel painful even wearing it all day. I have my first one in black, rubber did not peel off and I lost it in my last trip:( I’m getting this second one coz after I tried Bose, Bang &Olufsen, they both hurt my ears. Music quality is very important to me and this earphone just fits me perfectly. I have to agree the mic is not prefect for making calls, still using my AirPod for calls, but for traveling- totally need this earphones. Music quality is amazing- totally worth the money.
- If you purchase these headphones your paying quite the premium for higher sound quality AND professional look when compared to lg tones. I love the sound of the headphones no complaints there. Its the peeling top cover that drives me insane. This may sound like a silly complaint but when the peeling gets worse, the controls do not work properly. I think what is surprising is the speed of the development of the peeling . I have returned one pair to amazon due to peeling occurring with in the first month. I returned the next 2 pairs to Klipsch to find the peeling starting again and again in a month. Amazingly ive gone through 3 pairs of these headphones assuming my headphone were a lemon only to find the next new pair would have the same flaw. Ive Become increasingly careful to baby each subsequent pair to see avoid this issue since i really do love these headphones. Sadly nothing has changed this course. Its clear to me this is a flaw in the product that Klispch actively selling despite their knowledge. For me, this is a big problem. Ill be going back to my lg tones when these crap out. Sadly i cant get a refund and im invested in this fustrating product. I hope i can help others avoid my costly mistake.I should of never moved away from the lg tone. i thought the higher price of these would be higher quality and durability. Sadly its the opposite, a pair of 49 dollar tones have better durability.shame Klipsch.
- For the cost of these, I would say not worth the $. Stopped holding charge within the 4 month.
