- Did not work very well at all in the beginning, I did everything the vague instructions said to improve signal, relocated antenna several times, bought more antenna wire and adapters to extend height and distance then in the end had to buy a high gain pendant yagi antenna then it worked by the time I got it working I had spent as much on extra parts as the unit itselfWith all that said, it is a good product but you may have to spend a little more money and time to get it to work properlyAlso use an app to find out what band your cell service is using this one is for 12 and 17
- was not hard to install i downloaded the app to find my phone tower and then adjusted to that tower works great for our metal shop and home i also got my neighbor 2 so we have had no trouble yet has only been ayear or I would have gave it 5 stars
- I am giving it three stars, instead of zero, as there may have been user error. I tried facing the antennae every direction on my upstairs deck- at roof height. I tried it on both sides of the house. I used the app to find the right direction. I stood with my phone right next to the transmitter. There was simply no difference most of the time, maybe some tiny half a bar difference once or twice. Maybe we are just too far from the tower. Maybe it takes more skill to install correctly, but it didn\'t work for me. Returned it.
- I live in a area that only has one bar signal strength, and that is not often. I was very sceptic about buying a booster, but read some reviews on this one so I bought it. It prefect in low to no signal strength areas. I now have 5 full bars and 4g LTE . Thanks
- I put this on a pole outside. I had top rail fencing and its about 30 feet up over my house . I only had one bar inside my house EVER . Now close to the booster i can get 3 and sometimes 4 bars . In my room where i watch TV im getting 2 bars . The only problem i see is i have a 5000 Sq ft home and it only works about 20 feet from the inside booster. BUT im just happy i can get a better signal in my house .
- Bought new phones from T-Mobile after checking coverage in our area on their maps. However, their maps lied for my specific address due to the fact that our home is in a little valley with no line of site to the cell towers. I could get two bars on our roof but only one or zero in the house. Couldn\'t use T-Mobiles \"CellSpot\" because our internet is on satellite and it won\'t work, so I ordered and installed one of these. We now have solid bars in the room where the amplifier is located, but only one or two for the rest of the house, but this is way better than no signal at all. I\'d give 5 stars if the signal output was a bit stronger, but I\'m happy with it for what it cost.
- I installed it exactly like it said and even adjusted it several times I even had a tech guy check it out he said it was junk said I wasted my money he said get one that is around 200 or more otherwise it won\'t do crap and he was right make sure it has a gain control on it if it don\'t I wouldn\'t buy it so this one is NOT WORTH BUYING DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
- Installed on an existing TV antenna mast at about 20ft from the ground. Some tools and technical skill are required for installation. The Tonve amp boosted my cell signal about 20 dbm, from -121dbm to -99 dbm. It works well. It was well packaged and received on time. RecommendedPurchased on 27 July 2022. It is now 12 Nov 2022 and my Tonve cell signal booster just stopped working. The power indicator is on, but there is no signal indicator light. It did a fairly good job of boosting the signal while it was working. If they don\'t last any more than 3 1/2 months, I will not be purchasing another one. You decide!
