- It is able to provide best possible signal boost and improve reception in the coverage area. I can see significant increase in my signal bars and getting faster speeds as a result. If the initial signal is too weak ,the booster may not be able to amplify it enough to provide significant improvement in coverage. Therefore it is important to note that a basic signal is needed in order to use a cell phone booster effectively. This is a lifesaver and I can make calls clearly regardsless of where I’m using it. and it prevents drop calls .
- I finally got to the point where I\'m about to mount this. It is not as simple as putting an antenna on your roof and getting a better signal, as there are a lot of considerations. For example, you have to get on a website and search for your cell tower, then test the antenna to make sure it works (it does work well). You must decide what side of the house to mount it as well as the height needed, and whether there will be anything in the way, like trees or another house. Also, the antenna must be so far away from the base vertically and horizontally. After finding the location of the cell tower, I went out there and tested it out. My cell phone went from two bars to max bars, so it\'s safe to say that it works. The only problem I can think of is that you can only point it at one cell tower, so you may not get a cell boost for multiple carriers.This cell phone signal booster is worth it if you have a family with the same carrier or you have the time for installation.
- I set up this booster in my work trailer, It does work. I couldn’t use the internet before I installed it. It didn’t give me four bars but it did give me enough to use the internet.
- This seems to be a fairly well built unit. Using this with T-Mobile, I was able to boost the signal in the house from where I could not stream Netflix to where I could stream Netflix without any buffering. However, with the being a directional antenna it can take a bit of fiddling to get the signal right. But, the setup itself is fairly strait forward. Overall would recommend.Will update this review if there are any longevity issues with it.
- The install took a bit of time, but the improvement is unmistakable. Went from 3 bars to full immediately.
- I feel like the booster is well manufactured. The instructions were clear and concise. We had no problem with installation. Definitely a must if you live out in the country.
- I am using this booster with Verizon and it took me from 2 to 4 bars which is impressive when looking at the speeds i am getting now. I use a Verizon hot spot and this has made all the difference in the world. Installation is not bad at all, running the wire is the hardest part but that depends on your situation.You do need a basic signal to start with, i have seen many people complain about boosters not working and in every instance they did not have a good solid basic signal to start with. This booster works good and has given me no issues. I would buy again. 5 STARS
- We had a 2 bar boost which is very nice. Our calls have gotten more clear since before the booster. Easy on the bank account for sure. The area we live in is pretty dead so this was a complete life saver!! It is pretty simple to hook up and register too.
