SolidRF Cell Phone Signal Booster for Home Office Dual Interior Antennas Speedproplus Kit Cell Booster for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint Up to 15, 000 SQ Ft
- The product is well designed and the materials are very solid and it works well before you have to install anything in dry run testing, but trust me installation of this baby is not easy, its a two person job at least and you have to be sure you know all the exact locations of the nearest cell tower and your best line of sight at it as well as your best signal strengths around your property inside and out. Pre-testing and measuring is a must, across several days and weather conditions before installation.I live on the ocean waterfront in a very rural area that gets a lot of weather. We at best had two/three bars at any time in locations outside and inside and in bad weather maybe one/two and internet is a Cell also so this is a very important and researched purchase. This product looked like the best and best built. The Cell tower is maybe 3 miles as the crow flies and we have unimpeded line of sight over the water to it.So far, after installation, we now get consistently three to five bars - five especially when you are in the same room as the main antenna :D but the \"bubble\" of boost subsides fairly quickly much more that you would expect but we still get better service than we had before inside the house. So from that respect it is doing its job, but it could use more range! Now for installation :It is very hard. It needs to be roof mounted, at least for me in my area with my tower and then the wire run down the side of the house and into the main floor. That sounds easy but wait until you try it and of course as any coast residents know you really can not leave any exposed wire or holes on the outside so this had to be a very planned design. I was able to roof mount and run wire down behind siding J channel and then eventually under siding and into an existing exterior outlet to pass through into the house and not have to cut any new holes. The installation has already survived 60mph gusts and regular 20-30mph sustained winds with no impacts or service degradation. However the wire at 50\' is short for what I would think would be normal installations of this kind of unit and I am seriously considering redoing with 100\' - reason being is that 50\' barely gets it in your house from the roof and you want the boost bubble as close to center house as possible for the main antenna. The RF cable itself is incredibly fragile so it can not and should not be bent much. The extension cable is pretty much useless - had service degradation as soon as I tried to use it to move main antenna to center of the house. I have not installed the second antenna yet because of the cabling. Perhaps its just my property and it may not be same as yours but running wire inside walls or under carpets/flooring is not easy - so I am not sure how to wall mount an ugly wall only RF antenna with a 30\' black wire that has to connect back to the main antenna in a tasteful way. I really wish I could have had the house wired when built with RF cable jacks rather than silly landline Verizon phone jacks which I sealed up because who uses a landline? The included instructions were good.Regardless of the experience I am strongly considering purchasing a second unit for another property and probably will. At least to date one month after installation it is performing well. I will update if this changes as this product is an investment.Hope this is helpful.Update - my external unit failed in a recent severe storm and the support team at RF was incredible and helped work with me until my system was back online and operational and all covered under warranty. Thank you RF!
- We own a house in a remote location located in Wayne County, Pennsylvania didn\'t have any cell service at all, since we are surrounded by mountains and high trees. Yes we do have access to DSL by Vzon only offer max 3 Mbps Download and 1Mps download ( this is how remote we arelocated ). Since covid-19 back on February moved out here and yes working from home needed cellular and faster data service had tried everything cell boosters from other companies, satellite internet, etc. didn’t work wasted time and money. After reviewing more options out there I came across SolidRF. And decided to try it, ordered Speed Pro Plus ($1088 ) arrived in a couple days, did the installation myself it was really easy following the instructions the first couple days worked ok, but there was something wrong and decided to contact technical support I was worried since I saw on the reviews that they don’t offer a good tech service, after sending my first email to tech support got a response in less than 5 minutes from Fisher. Here is his response...Thank you for your purchase first, my name is Fisher, I will follow you to settle all your problems. Would you please take a few pictures, the outdoor unit and indoor antenna installation? After sending the requested information Fisher was there until we had solved the oscillation problem that the equipment was having, him and the engineers team that helped me not only with words but with diagrams, satellite images, etc. helped me find the near cell tower and best location for my indoor and outdoor equipment yes it took a couple days but never left me along he was in contact by email 24 hrs including weekends until everything was connected and working fine. Thanks to the APP (SoildRF) that he asked me to install on my cell, this is a big plus to see how poor or good is the connection between my cell and the booster. I\'m not sure why they don’t mention it in the product description.Well before the booster on the roof of my house had 1 bar on my cell phone and no signal at all inside, now on the roof still the same 1 to 2 bars but inside getting 4 bars throughout my 5 bedroom house and also when outside on the yard we have a good reception. I use my cell phone not only for calls but as a hotspot and use my computer for work and watch some movies on my TV. now we all have excellent reception ( Verizon ) thanks to the booster. My experience with Tech Support Expert has really been excellent Fisher was the best Tech that I ever had. He was very patient, and very kind and also he was very understanding when I was losing control. No words can explain how happy I am to find a tech like him. So helpful and he even emailed me the next couple days which I thought he would forget me but he did email me asking if everything was working fine.Thank you Again for your help.
- Instructions not detailed enough, wires not long enough and software very user unfriendly. I currently have a unit with 1 antenna inside at 1/2 the price doing a better job. I was looking for a better unit. I though this unit would be better but it’s not. I’m returning it. 9/23/20
