- I own the original smooth 5 (gen 1). After purchasing this new Smooth 5S (gen 2) and testing it I noticed the improvements right away! The upgraded motors provide the best stabilization for larger phones such as the iPhone 14 pro max. The integrated fill light is a very convenient touch. Charging time has been sped up and my battery run time lasts double what my old one would, I can take this out all day and not have to worry about my gimbal running out of battery power. I highly recommend this product for all videographers and photographers out there! I also want to give a huge high five to this seller, they provided amazing customer service and answered all my questions. A++++++++
- Having never used a gimbal before, this was a fun challenge to pick up and give a try! The connection to the application was easy. Feels good in hand, interface is easy to learn, fits my Pixel 7 pro quite well. The build does not feel cheap at all. Manual stabilization with the joystick is good once you balance your phone onto its mount. There\'s a few comprehensive guides on the 5S and after having watched a few videos on how to use it, am definitely excited to give this a run in the field. Am certainly excited to produce work with a product that would cost me much more on the DSLR side.Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to give this a spin!
- I owned a DJI OM5 and not used it often because my phone already give good enough stabilization algo and the gimbal didn\'t add much value. My cousin is into vlog and need a gimble so we were trying out the Zhiyun 5s. It is heavier than the DJI, but the 3 axis gimble gives more flexible tracking than 2.5 axis DJI gimble. We especially like the light feature as it really make the video look different than what a phone shots.
- The media could not be loaded. I really like this gimbal. Very smooth. You can download an app to get full controls of your camera on your phone using the physical dials and buttons on the gimbal.Pros: I did a running test and it\'s pretty smooth! It is like a dslr gimbal, but for your phone.Cons: I really don\'t like the light it has because of dim it is. Not as compact compared to its competitors.
