- Be sure to check out my video review as well here on Amazon to find out why I am calling this a next level gimbal.This is first of the Zhiyun Smooth models that provides stronger motors in order to allow lens attachments to your smartphone. I tested it successfully with a Moment 58mm Tele lens and it holds up fine with no issues. I would venture to say that this would easily support a ND filter or any other filter attachments you placed even on top of the Tele lens. It also has a built in weight bar to help you balance a heavier setup.In addition it features a joystick that allows for smooth shots. This is great especially if you want to be stationary. I appreciate the addition control because you never know what situation you will find yourself in.Another amazing addition is the built-in light. You can control the brightness and if you desire you can purchase additional fill lights that will magnetically connect to your gimbal for less than favorable lighting conditions.A lot of the features are the same great features those who have used Zhiyun’s gimbals have come to expect: Filmic Pro Bluetooth integration for easy app controlling, various modes depending on your gimbal need, a plug and a trusty tripod for stationary shots. This gimbal is perfect for my YouTube channel and for getting b-roll shots for my food reviews. Definitely worth it.
- It works great.I did not care for the app that came with it, but the built-in light is amazing.Stabilization-wise, it works great. My footage looks fantastic. If you turn on stabilization on your phone, it will look even better. As good as a professional camera.
- The media could not be loaded. This is the most high tech gimbal I have ever used and it\'s awesome! I have been wanting to get more creative and higher quality shots in my videos. This is the piece of tech to do both of those things with! If you want to get professional and cinematic shots with your cell phone this is the perfect gimbal. The free app that pairs with this also has a really cool tracking feature (among tons of others) that targets the subject so you can just set the gimbal down and it will follow! This thing is so cool! Great product that was shipped and delivered right on schedule. Would definitely recommend! 5 stars all the way!
- This is my first gimbal an happy with my choice super stable, feels great in my hands. The stabilizing function is easy. I’m no camera pro at all means but this gimbal is the truth.
- The media could not be loaded. This is a great gimbal for your smartphone! Super easy to use and setup. Took me a minute to get it running. Comes with a nice tripod that screws in the base and also a light very nice addition ! Has all the modes including vortex, long battery life and feels great in the hand. all axis lock in place for easy Portability ! my new favorite camera gear !
- The media could not be loaded. I like how easy it is to setup, very well built and sturdy, I can have a very good grip in my hand. It’s just amazing how good the video came out, you have to try this yourself!
- Once you unlock developer options in the ZiCam app you can use 4k at 60fps in follow mode. The DJI osmo 6 was capped at 4k 30fps.2 gripes are how annoying it is to reset and adjust the arm every single time I want to lock the gimbal in for travel mode, and both of the scroll wheels are flawed in their own way that makes them unusable - zoom wheel has a bounce back after you zoom it. can\'t even look at it without it jumping back sometimes. and the light dimming wheel is not easy to turn by finger but you have to use the tip of your nailThe osmo folded up into this small thing that would fit in a back pocket but there\'s no chance you\'re going to do that with this.Motors are plenty strong on the 5s, but the phone clamp on this is a PIA.I think it has the potential to be a great gimbal but it needs some improvements - some of which could be fixed with a firmware update and some love on the app side.
- The media could not be loaded. While stabilization has come a long way, sometimes I need to get that super smooth footage and with as great as phones are nowadays this is the perfect addition to my kit! The battery life seems great so far and it\'s fairly easy to setup and use!
