    • I used a couple of apps to figure out what band booster I should be using. It showed that band 13 was the strong signal in my area, from the airport. I got a band 13 booster and got a great signal inside my building. But the data rate was very low, 10s of Kb/s, pathetic. Played with that for a month or so and decided that the airport signal was way to congested to ever get a good data rate. Was outside in the parking lot and all of a sudden I got a 45Mb/s signal down, couldn\'t believe it. I checked and it was band 66, which hadn\'t show up in all the testing I did. So I swapped out for this booster. Swapped out the antenna and the booster, used the same coax that I had previously run and used the directional antenna. Previous band 13 booster had a unidirectional antenna.I only got a 2 bar signal with the band 66 booster but I was getting 30Mb/s down for data - bingo. That was in the summer, with the trees full of leaves. Winter came and the trees dropped their leaves and band 13 would occasionally over ride the band 66 signal which meant my download speed would be pathetic. I moved the directional antenna so it was very close to my office with an additional 50\' of coax. That solved my issue nearly 100%. Once in a bit band 13 would creep in and I\'d use airplane mode to reset the signal where band 66 would be the main signal again. My neighbor was able to take advantage of the signal until I moved my antenna. Then he lost the good signal. I felt bad and bought a splitter and another directional antenna and set it up in the original spot I had my 1st antenna. This so far has increased my signal to 3 bars from 2 and it\'s very very rare that band 13 shows up.The booster along with the 2 antennas has really helped my signal and data rate. Very happy I did this.
    • The initial booster I got did not work. I tried to get support, but finally gave up. Then several months later I was contacted by the company and told that I had probably bought the wrong booster. They walked me through finding the frequency I needed, then sent me the right booster for free. When I put it up, it works great. It went from 0-1 bars to 4-5 bars LTE. I gave them four stars instead of five because I had to wait so long. However, they did make it right. My advice is to find out the correct frequency you need FIRST. Then contact the sellers to make sure you are getting the right product.
    • The website stated to download the LTE Discovery app to find out the band used by our provider. I did so at home and not where it was going to be installed. The band the phone was receiving at the installation point was different then the band indicated at our house. The description made it sound like the band was the same wherever you were and not specific to the actual location of the unit.
    • I think the smell of it gave me a headache because soon as I started to put it together I became light headed and a migraine started to approach. I went from 1 bar and dropped calls to 3 bars and im talking to everybody with no problem. Im with Metro and this works great. At first i told my husband which way to point it and it wasnt giving any signal. (I found a tower on this app that it tells you to download) but he went back up there and turned it until I had a solid green light. Nothing hard just follow the directions and have another person in the house while on the phone so you can get the solid green light without having to com off the roof and go back up.
