- I ordered the Primboost Cell Phone Booster for Home as a solution to be employed once retired. Retirement location will be rural location, if all goes well, and I am anticipating the need for signal boost. Product is very well-made and should provide reliable service for quite a long time.
- If you have bad cell phone signal in your house, you need this.Universal compatibility, with all carriers in North America.Installation is a little tedious, you have to install an outdoor antenna (easy) and then connect it to the unit inside the house. So a long coaxial cable has to reach from outside to inside, either through the attic or some other routing through a window or a wall. then you have 2 indoor antennas to connect.None of this is unique to this signal booster, they all work this way. So a universal problem.Apart from that, the rest works very well. connect the antennas, plug in power, and instant indoor signal.No more dropped calls, longer lasting battery, clear calls. Problem solved.
- This cell booster will add some bars, once you get it set up, assuming you had one to start with. I like it because it covers more square foot than the others I have seen, as it comes with 2 indoor antennas. It comes with most of what you will need to set it up. Each setup is bound to be a little different, so you may need some hardware based on where and how you install this. It isn’t that large, so it doesn’t take away from the aesthetics of your home outside.Overall, I would say that if, like me, your cell service at home is terrible but exists, this is a great way to boost and improve it. Just be ready to spend a little time figuring out the install. I do think it is important to note that this will ONLY work if you have a signal without it. It boosts the signal, it doesn’t create it.
